Hopalong Andrew: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Hopalong Andrew

Hopalong Andrew is a New York City–based individual artist working at the edge of rock/pop songcraft and freer, open-form playing. They have appeared at Riverside Park as part of the Hippo Playground Summer Concert Series, sharing bills with Michael Napolitano and Esther Crow. Collaborations and shared stages also include Flor Bromley and Matt Heaton. The work favors direct melodies and clear rhythmic shapes, then loosens into open passages where structure is treated as optional rather than fixed.
