About Hollie

Hollie is an English singer and keyboardist whose background runs from punk to reggae, including a late-era stint with the Slits. Her solo work, developed in collaboration with producer Prince Fatty, blends reggae and rocksteady roots with the melodic logic of 1960s girl groups, a sound she frames as “tropical pop.” In New York City she has appeared at Union Hall, including the All Toddlers are Scorpios book release show. Her performances tend to favor direct phrasing and groove over spectacle.
