GZA: Hip-Hop Artist in New York

About GZA

GZA is a New York–rooted rapper whose early career helped form the foundation of the Wu-Tang Clan, where he is often treated as a guiding voice. His solo work, especially the 1995 album *Liquid Swords*, is built on tight structure, internal rhyme, and scene-driven storytelling. At Brooklyn Bowl, he has brought that material to the stage in full-album performances, sharing bills with acts like Phunky Nomads and Keznamdi. His sets tend to favor lyrical precision over spectacle.
