Giles Corey: Rock Band in New York

About Giles Corey

Giles Corey is the solo project of Dan Barrett, known for his work in Have a Nice Life and related releases under the name Black Wing. The music draws from slowcore and spare rock/pop structures, using restrained arrangements to make room for atmosphere and narrative detail. In New York City, the project has appeared at Market Hotel in Brooklyn, including bills curated by Minty Boi and shared with artists like Kathryn Mohr. The performances favor mood and pacing over spectacle.
