Gary Negbaur: Jazz Musician in New York

About Gary Negbaur

Gary Negbaur is a New York City–based jazz musician working at the edge of free improvisation. He appears at Arthur’s Tavern, a Greenwich Village room where small-band lineups favor direct contact between players and audience. His performances tend to prioritize listening and real-time response over fixed arrangements, letting texture and timing do the work. With a modest Spotify following, his profile reads less like a brand than a working artist’s record of ongoing gigs.
