Free Paintings: Rock Band in New York

About Free Paintings

Free Paintings is a rock/pop group that works in the orbit of art rock, a tag reflected in their Spotify profile and a modest online following. In New York City, they’ve appeared at Pianos, a room that rewards bands that can hold a set without excess production. They have shared bills with Glitter Etiquette, Deep Sky Object, and OBOY!, placing them in a local circuit of genre-adjacent projects. Their songs favor structure and mood over spectacle, with guitars and vocals carrying most of the weight.
