Francisco "Pancho" Céspedes: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Francisco "Pancho" Céspedes

Francisco “Pancho” Céspedes is a Cuban singer-songwriter whose work bridges rock-pop structures with the lyric intimacy of trova and bolero. At New York City’s S.O.B.s, he has presented band-led sets under titles like *Francisco “Pancho” Cespedes Live in concert*, often alongside guests such as Gerardo Contino. His repertoire includes the late-1990s hit “Vida Loca,” a reference point for the storytelling that anchors his writing. Onstage, he tends to favor rhythmic restraint and clear narratives over spectacle.
