For Opal: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About For Opal

For Opal is a Rock/Pop artist whose live work has been heard in New York City rooms like the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, a venue with a long history of indie rock and experimental bills. Their credits include shared lineups with Afternoon Bike Ride, Peaer, Wendy Eisenberg, Kissy Noises, Premium Chunk and friends, and the Bad Bad Hats and Smut orbit, as well as a set tied to The Black Keys Record Hang. Recent appearances include events such as Maria Taylor at Knitting Factory Brooklyn (Night Club 101). Onstage, the emphasis is on direct songcraft and steady dynamics rather than spectacle.
