About Florence Road

Florence Road is an Irish rock-pop group formed in Bray, County Wicklow, in 2019, led by singer-guitarist Lily Aron alongside Emma Brandon, Ailbhe Barry, and Hannah Kelly. The band first built an audience through short-form online covers before breaking through with the single “Heavy” and later signing with Warner’s recording and publishing arms. In New York City, they’ve appeared on bills at venues including Hammerstein Ballroom and Brooklyn Paramount, alongside acts such as The Last Dinner Party and From the Pyre. Their live approach favors tight ensemble playing and direct, vocal-forward arrangements over spectacle.
