About Field Trip

Field Trip is a four-piece rock band that emerged from Pleasanton, California, active through the late 1980s and 1990s. Led in part by guitarist and songwriter Jim Galbraith alongside drummer Tom Galbraith, the group built a following through U.S. college radio play. Their 1991 album *Ripe* came out via Slash Records and included keyboard contributions from Roddy Bottum of Faith No More. In New York City, they appear at Arlene’s Grocery on a shared bill with Tayls and Early Days, favoring direct songcraft over studio gloss.
