About Eucademix

Eucademix is a rock/pop project associated with New York–based Japanese multi-instrumentalist and producer Yuka Honda, known as a co-founder of Cibo Matto. The group has appeared at the Knitting Factory, including on bills with L’Rain, situating their work in the city’s small-room performance circuit. Honda’s long record of collaboration with artists such as Sean Lennon, Nels Cline, and Marc Ribot shapes Eucademix’s method: studio-minded composition brought into live space. The performances favor precision and arrangement over spectacle.
