Esther Povitsky: Comedian in New York

About Esther Povitsky

Esther Povitsky is a Chicago-raised stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer who moves between club stages and scripted comedy. She co-created and starred in the series *Alone Together*, later appearing on Hulu’s *Dollface*, and brought her stand-up to Comedy Central with the special *Hot for My Name*. In New York, she appears at New York Comedy Club’s Midtown room alongside comics such as Elon Gold, Mike Britt, and Mehran Khaghani. Her sets favor precise self-scrutiny and conversational pacing over spectacle.
