About Ekko Astral

Ekko Astral is a Washington, D.C.–based punk outfit working at the edge of rock and pop, with a sound that folds noise into pop-punk structures. In New York City they’ve appeared at the Knitting Factory, including a three-act bill alongside Editrix and Pop Music Fever Dream. The band’s 2024 debut album *Pink Balloons* arrived via Topshelf Records and helped place them within contemporary queercore circles. Onstage, they favor tight, fast arrangements over spectacle, letting abrasion and melody share the same frame.
