Domo: Performing Artist in New York

About Domo

Domo, known in recordings as Domo Genesis, is a rapper, DJ, and songwriter whose career first drew attention through the Odd Future collective before moving into a steady solo practice, including a 2016 debut album and a label launched in 2018. In New York City, he has appeared at the Milton G. Bassin Performing Arts Center, on bills that sit alongside choral and orchestral collaborators such as the Queens College Choral Society and the Queens Symphony Orchestra. His work favors direct lyric delivery and tight rhythm over spectacle. Recent local programming includes *American Klezmer: A Conversation With Mini and Lee*.
