Diplomat: Hip-Hop Group in New York

About Diplomat

Diplomat is a group working in a rock/pop frame, with a parallel life on streaming platforms where they’re tagged under east coast hip hop and draw a sizable audience. In New York City, they appear at Wonderville, a room that tends to reward tight setups and quick shifts in mood. They’ve shared bills with Underwater Runner and Golden Lumens, including the three-act night billed as “Diplomat/Underwater Runner/Golden Lumens.” Their performances favor groove and structure over spectacle.
