About Dion

Dion, born Dion Francis DiMucci, is a singer and songwriter whose work moves between doo-wop roots and the broader language of pop, rock, R&B, folk, and blues. He first came to national attention as the lead voice of Dion and the Belmonts, then built a solo run that produced dozens of U.S. Top 40 singles in the pre–British Invasion years, alongside recordings with groups such as the Del-Satins. At Westbury Music Fair, he brings that New York-area history onto the stage with performances that favor direct storytelling over spectacle.
