Dinkins: Comedian in New York

About Dinkins

Dinkins is a New York–based performer and theatre-maker whose work moves between stage acting, devised performance, and documentary-inflected storytelling. Trained in conservatory technique and shaped by the city’s rehearsal-room culture, they have appeared in ensemble and principal roles in downtown theatre and at small to mid-sized NYC venues. Their practice often begins with research, interviews, and close listening, then translates that material into spare, actor-forward scenes. The performances favor clarity over spectacle, letting language and rhythm carry the weight.
