DIME. is a dance group whose work takes its cue from the dime novel, drawing on the plain-spoken energy of cheap American serial fiction from the turn of the 20th century. In New York City, they have appeared at Berlin on a shared bill with Emma Rosenkranz and Dali Rose. The project favors structure and reference over spectacle, letting movement carry narrative hints without spelling them out. Their performances sit comfortably alongside adjacent downtown song and pop currents while keeping the focus on choreography.
