Dead Sea Sparrow: Performing Group in New York

About Dead Sea Sparrow

Dead Sea Sparrow is a group heard in the orbit of Freddy’s Bar, a familiar name on Brooklyn’s open-mic and community-series circuit. They’ve shared bills with recurring rooms like Mimsey’s Open Mic, Humans Against Music, the Monday and Wednesday Comedy Open Mic, and the monthly storytelling series “So What Happened Was…,” alongside themed nights such as Highland Shatner’s St. Pat’s Show. With a modest Spotify following, their profile reads less like a touring act and more like a working local project. The performances favor direct delivery over spectacle, shaped by the quick turnarounds and mixed-genre bills of New York City stages.
