DAX J: Performing Artist in New York

About DAX J

DAX J is a DJ and producer whose work sits in the acid techno and hard techno continuum, with tempos and drum programming that prioritize pressure and forward motion. His sets are built for long arcs, a format reflected in appearances at New York City’s Knockdown Center, including open-to-close nights that leave little room for shortcuts. He draws on the direct, warehouse-rooted vocabulary of UK and European techno, favoring structure and repetition over spectacle. Online, he registers as an emerging artist, with roughly 75K followers on Spotify.
