Crowd Lu is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter and actor whose work moves between rock and pop, often carried by a wide, high-range vocal style that earned him the nickname “Vitas Lu” after a well-known parody performance. After a serious car accident during his first year at university, he began learning guitar while recovering, then went on to win composition and solo performance prizes in campus competitions. His songs tend to favor direct melodic writing over heavy production. In New York City, he brings the “HeartBreakFast” World Tour to Town Hall.
