Coumba Samba: Performing Artist in New York

About Coumba Samba

Coumba Samba is an artist working in exhibitions and contemporary art, presenting projects that move between installation and live performance. In New York City, her work has been shown at Whitney Exhibitions, including the live event *Coumba Samba: Stars and Stripes*. Her practice draws on research and material choices as much as presentation, treating the gallery as an active site rather than a neutral frame. Her approach favors directness over spectacle, letting images and objects carry the argument.
