About Cory Henry

Cory Henry is a jazz organist and pianist whose roots in gospel inform a direct, rhythm-forward approach. He came to wider attention through his work with Snarky Puppy before moving into a solo path, beginning with the independent release *Art of Love* and followed by projects including *Something to Say*. In New York City he appears at Brooklyn Bowl, including collaborations billed with The Heavyweights and with Eric Krasno and drummer Robert “Sput” Searight. His performances favor groove and harmonic density over showmanship.
