Conrad Herwig is a New York City–based jazz trombonist whose work moves between hard bop language and Latin jazz traditions. At Dizzy’s Club, he leads *Conrad Herwig’s Latin Side of Miles and ’Trane*, reshaping repertoire linked to Miles Davis and John Coltrane through Afro-Cuban rhythm and harmony. The project reflects his long engagement with both straight-ahead and Latin-informed ensembles, including his own bands. Herwig’s performances tend to favor structural clarity over spectacle.
