Clarence Spady Band: Jazz Ensemble in New York

About Clarence Spady Band

The Clarence Spady Band brings jazz-rooted electric guitar playing into a working club format, built around groove, blues phrasing, and open-ended solos. Led by Clarence Spady, the group draws on a career shaped by road work, recording sessions, and a long apprenticeship in American club circuits. In New York City, they appear at Terra Blues, where the room’s close quarters encourage direct exchange between band and audience. Their sets favor economy and touch over spectacle, letting dynamics and tone carry the narrative.
