About Buck-Tick

Buck-Tick is a Japanese rock group formed in 1983, widely linked to the early development of visual kei. Over four decades, their sound has moved through punk, gothic, and industrial strains, with electronic textures often sitting at the center. After the loss of longtime vocalist Atsushi Sakurai in 2023, core members Hisashi Imai and Hidehiko Hoshino began sharing lead vocal duties. In New York City, their catalog becomes the subject of “A Night of Visual-Kei: BUCK-TICK Karaoke” at Seventh Heaven Bar & Karaoke.
