About Bonnie Baxter
Bonnie Baxter is a New York City–based individual artist working at the edge of rock and pop, with a catalog that also brushes against breakcore and speedcore. She has appeared at Pianos on mixed bills that pair club-band economy with downtown experimental lineups, including the Chuck Bettis & Bonnie Baxter Duo and sets alongside Stereo Mandrax, Hisham Akira Bharoocha, Ka Baird, Ben Vida, and Alex Zhang Hungtai. Baxter often works in duo formats where structure is negotiated in real time. Her performances favor clarity and forward motion over spectacle.
