About Big Wreck

Big Wreck is a Canadian rock group founded in 1992 by Ian Thornley and Brian Doherty while they were based in Boston, later joined by David Henning and Forrest Williams. After a 2003 breakup and Thornley’s years leading his own project, the band reconvened in 2010 and resumed recording with albums including *Albatross*, *Ghosts*, *Grace Street*, *...But for the Sun*, *7*, and *The Rest of the Story*. Their sound sits in the post-grunge lane, built around Thornley’s guitar-forward songwriting. In New York City, they bring that approach to the stage at Irving Plaza.
