Benson Boone is an American singer-songwriter who first came into public view during a brief run on *American Idol* in 2021 before stepping away and building a larger audience online. He later signed with Night Street Records, the label founded by Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds, and broke through with singles including “Ghost Town” and “In the Stars.” Boone writes in a pop framework but leans into rock phrasing and a wide vocal range.
