Ben Stivers Organ Trio: Jazz Ensemble in New York

About Ben Stivers Organ Trio

Ben Stivers Organ Trio is a jazz group led by pianist and keyboardist Ben Stivers, heard in a groove-forward organ setting. Stivers’ background spans jazz and related idioms, including blues, rock, Latin pop, and fusion, and that breadth shapes the trio’s repertoire and pacing. In New York City they appear at The Django, where the music tends to favor clear structures over open-ended display. Stivers’ touring work, including time on the road with Lyle Lovett, informs the band’s steady, bandstand-ready focus.
