About Allan Mednard
Allan Mednard is a jazz guitarist active on the New York City scene, including appearances at the Iridium. He has performed alongside players such as Oz Noy, Nir Felder, Dave Stryker, Pat Martino, Adam Rogers, Paul Bollenback, Ed Cherry, and Sheryl Bailey. He has been part of large, guitarist-heavy bills, including a concert honoring Martino that brought multiple New York–based guitar voices together under one program. His playing favors modern harmony and ensemble listening over display.
