Alix Perez is a drum and bass DJ and producer with roots in Charleroi, Belgium, now based in New Zealand. His work moves between liquid-leaning textures and harder rhythmic pressure, shaped for club systems as much as headphones. In 2016 he launched 1985 Music as both a record label and clothing imprint, extending his practice into curation and community-building. In New York City, his appearance at SILO places that catalog in a room built for low-end detail; his sets tend to favor control and pacing over spectacle.
