About Alain Mednard
Alain Mednard is a jazz guitarist working in New York’s club circuit, including appearances at the Iridium. He has shared bandstands with players such as Oz Noy, Nir Felder, Dave Stryker, Pat Martino, Adam Rogers, Paul Bollenback, Ed Cherry, and Sheryl Bailey. Mednard was part of the Iridium concert honoring Martino, joining a roster of New York–based guitarists interpreting the late composer’s music. His playing favors line and harmonic detail over spectacle, with an ear for ensemble balance.
