    About Skip Vangelas

Skip Vangelas is a rock and pop musician associated with Dark Star Orchestra (DSO) and its extended circle of collaborators. In New York City, he appears at City Winery NYC, including lineups such as Jeff Mattson & Friends featuring Rob Eaton and Vangelas. His work often sits in the space between ensemble interplay and lead-driven songcraft, shaped by the listening culture of jam-oriented rock. The playing favors steady groove and clear phrasing over spectacle.
