About Jeff Mattson & Friends
Jeff Mattson & Friends is a rock/pop group heard in New York City at City Winery NYC, where the lineup shifts to match the night’s material. Recent performances have featured Rob Eaton and Skip Vangelas of Dark Star Orchestra (DSO), linking the project to a wider circle of jam-rooted musicians. Their sets move through familiar songcraft with room for extended interplay and on-the-spot arrangement choices. The playing tends to favor ensemble cohesion over spectacle.
