Amblur: Jazz Ensemble in New York

About Amblur

Amblur is the house band for Tuesday night jam sessions at Bar Bayeux in New York City. The group brings together guitarist Brad Shepik, whose playing draws on jazz guitar as well as saz and tambura work from the Barbès scene, with guitarist Bob Lanzetti, bassist Sam Minaie, and drummer Diego Voglino, known for late-night free-improvisation contexts. Their sets move between grounded grooves and open-ended interaction, shaped by the push and pull of a working jam-session room. The music tends to favor risk over polish.
