Jerome Jennings Quintet: Jazz Ensemble in New York

About Jerome Jennings Quintet

The Jerome Jennings Quintet is a working jazz group led by drummer Jerome Jennings, heard in New York City settings where small-group interplay matters, including sets at Smalls Jazz Club. The band’s book draws on Jennings’ experience leading projects such as the Jerome Jennings Quartet and collaborating with guitarist Craig Wuepper, also billed with the Craig Wuepper Quartet. Their performances center on ensemble balance and firm time, with lines built to move as a unit rather than as a series of spotlights. The approach favors clarity over spectacle.
