    About Yancey Strickler

Yancey Strickler is an electronic artist whose work appears in New York City performance contexts, including sets at Public Records. He has shared bills with Josh Citarella, including the program “DURATIONS: New Creative Era presents The Dark Forest Era,” where sound operates as both atmosphere and structure. Strickler’s approach leans toward systems and pacing, treating the room as an instrument rather than a stage. The result favors focus over spectacle, with attention to duration and tone shaping how an audience listens.
