Offal Literary Salon: Performing Group in New York

About Offal Literary Salon

Offal Literary Salon is a New York City–based group working at the seam between electronic performance and literary conversation, with appearances at Public Records. Their events often take the form of structured salons that place sound alongside live speaking and text, drawing on collaborators such as philosopher Simon Critchley and writers Elvia Wilk, Joseph Earl Thomas, and Sasha Ravitch, as well as Meredith Graves. The approach treats programming as a compositional tool, with the room, the audience, and the cadence of reading folded into the set. Their work favors attention and context over spectacle.
