About Klein
Klein is an electronic artist whose work moves between experimental club language and electroacoustic collage, drawing on drone, ambient, and musique concrète techniques. In New York City, she has appeared at Public Records, including the DURATIONS series alongside Buttechno, Matana Roberts with Lesley Mok, and Significant Other. Her sets often treat sound as material—voice fragments, abrasive textures, and negative space arranged with a composer’s attention to pacing. The performances favor structure over spectacle, with shifts that feel closer to installation than conventional DJ form.
