Steve Little: Jazz Musician in New York

About Steve Little

Steve Little is a jazz drummer heard in New York City settings such as Dizzy’s Club. He appears in programs like *A Century of Jazz: Bill Crow and Steve Little*, where bassist Bill Crow, pianist Jason Yeager, and leader Justin Poindexter build a set around repertoire associated with the Gerry Mulligan circle. Little’s work sits inside the ensemble rather than on top of it, emphasizing timekeeping, clear phrasing, and balance. His profile reads as an emerging presence, with a small but growing recorded footprint.
