About Janina

Janina is an electronic artist and DJ who appears in New York City lineups at Signal, sharing bills with peers like Peachlyfe, Yazzus, Adriana Ruas, Alfonsvs, and 98dots. Her musical grounding comes from formal training in piano, voice, and orchestral percussion, alongside theatre studies that fed into a working screen career. Viewers may recognize her from roles across series including *The L Word*, *True Blood*, and *The Vampire Diaries*. In performance, she tends to treat DJ structure like composition, favoring clarity and pacing over spectacle.
