Wayne KrantzW/ Nate Wood & Noam Tanzer: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Wayne KrantzW/ Nate Wood & Noam Tanzer

Wayne Krantz brings an electric-jazz guitar vocabulary into a rock/pop frame, often working in small-group formats that leave room for open-ended improvisation. At The Bitter End in New York City, he appears with multi-instrumentalist Nate Wood and bassist Noam Tanzer, building sets around real-time interaction rather than fixed charts. The trio’s approach leans on rhythmic elasticity and quick shifts in texture, with each player shaping form as it happens. Krantz’s playing favors taut lines and conversational pacing over spectacle.
