About BDA
BDA is a New York–based group working at the hinge of DJ culture and jazz performance, with appearances at Good Room. Their sets move between club pacing and ensemble interplay, often in dialogue with collaborators such as Toribio and the Bring Dat Jazz Orchestra. In the context of Winter Jazz Fest’s Collective Resonance, BDA operates less as a standalone act than as a flexible bandstand, shaping transitions and leaving room for guests. The approach favors clarity over spectacle, with long arcs built from rhythm and restraint.
