About Daniela Mack
Daniela Mack is an Argentine mezzo-soprano whose work sits between opera and concert repertoire, with a grounding in baroque style as well as contemporary programs. She drew international attention as a finalist in the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition in 2013. In New York City she has appeared at National Sawdust, including “SUR,” a set of Astor Piazzolla songs with bandoneonist Juan Pablo Jofre and his quintet. Her performances tend to favor clean line and textual focus over vocal display.
