young friend: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About young friend

young friend is a rock/pop artist whose work sits between guitar-driven immediacy and clean, pop-minded structure. With a moderate Spotify footprint (around 42/100) and roughly 35K followers, the project reads as steadily built rather than industry-manufactured. In New York City, young friend brings this material to the Knitting Factory, a room that favors close listening and direct delivery. The performances tend to prioritize melodic clarity over spectacle, leaving the songs to carry the weight.
