Pitchfork Comedy Festival: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Pitchfork Comedy Festival

Pitchfork Comedy Festival is presented as a single artist profile, but it functions like a curated program built around live performance and a concert-paced running order. In New York City, it appears on the calendar at the Knitting Factory, a venue that sits comfortably between club show and cultural room. The festival’s identity borrows from rock and pop formatting—tight sets, quick turnovers, and an emphasis on rhythm—even when the material is comedic. Its programming favors immediacy over spectacle, letting timing and atmosphere do most of the work.
