Steve Hackett: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Steve Hackett

Steve Hackett is an English guitarist known for his work in progressive and art rock, first coming to wider attention as lead guitarist for Genesis in the early 1970s. During his years with the band, he helped shape a string of influential recordings before turning his focus to an extensive solo career. In New York City, he brings that history to Town Hall with a program that moves between Genesis-era material and later work. His playing favors structure and tone over showmanship.
