Ayra Starr: Hip-Hop Artist in New York

About Ayra Starr

Ayra Starr is a Nigerian singer whose work moves between afrobeats, afropop, and R&B, with hip-hop phrasing threaded through. Her recorded output has built a large global audience, reflected in her strong Spotify metrics and a following in the millions. On the Starrgirl World Tour, she brings that repertoire to New York City at Brooklyn Paramount, translating studio polish into a tighter live frame. Her performances tend to favor clean vocal lines and rhythmic control over heavy spectacle.
