    About Simon Moullier Octet

Simon Moullier Octet is an eight-piece jazz ensemble led by French vibraphonist and composer Simon Moullier. Formed for a New York City presentation at The Jazz Gallery, the group appears as part of the TJG Residency Commission ’26, where Moullier brings his writing into a larger-band frame. The octet foregrounds ensemble balance and structure, with the vibraphone used as a compositional voice as much as a solo instrument. The music favors clarity over spectacle.
